GOTS standard

True sustainability starts with the material. That's why our clothing is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the world's leading standard for the production of textiles from organically produced natural fibers. But GOTS is much more than just an organic label: it looks at the entire textile supply chain and ensures that environmental and social standards are observed in equal measure.

What makes GOTS so special?

Environmentally friendly production

At least 70% organically produced fibers (even 95% for GOTS "organic")
No use of pesticides or genetically modified seeds
Strict requirements for water and energy consumption - less waste of resources
Pollutant-free processing: ban on toxic chemicals, heavy metals and synthetic softeners
Strict wastewater regulations to protect soils and waters

Growing organic cotton requires 91% less water than conventional cotton.

Social responsibility

Living wages & fair working conditions throughout the supply chain
Prohibition of child labor, forced labor and discrimination.
Safe and hygienic workplaces for all employees
Trade union freedom and the right to collective bargaining

Seamless control & transparency

annual inspections by independent inspection bodies
every garment is traceable - you can be sure that GOTS is inside where GOTS is written on it
