Good clothing starts with the material. That's why many of our items are made from organic cotton Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. You can see what these are directly on the respective product page. GOTS is considered one of the world's leading standards for textiles made from organically produced natural fibers. He looks not just at the fiber, but at the entire processing chain. Its environmental and social criteria are monitored by independent bodies.
What makes GOTS so special?
GOTS environmental criteria
✔ at least 70% organically produced fibers (with GOTS “organic” even 95%)
✔ no use of synthetic pesticides or genetically modified seeds
✔ Water and energy consumption will captured and reduced
✔ Ban on many toxic chemicals
✔ Sewage must be in a sewage treatment plant treated be and fixed Adhere to limit values
GOTS social criteria
